Former Kano Governor Ibrahim Shekarau Loses Elder Brother

A senior brother to Malam Ibrahim Shekaru, former Kano State Governor, Malam Dahiru Shekarau, is dead.

A statement issued on Wednesday by Spokesman to the Former Governor, Associate Prof. Sule Yau Sule, said Dahiru Shekarau died at a private hospital on Tuesday after a protracted illness.

Our sources reports that the funeral prayer of the deceased, who was a retired Permanent Secretary in Kano State Civil Service, will hold at Giginyu Jumuat Mosque, Nasarawa local government area, at 10.00 am today, Wednesday.
