Kano ADC holds successful congress, elects new executives.

The ADC has unveiled its newly elected state executives in Kano State following the conclusion of its 2026 state congress.

Hon. Abullahi Maikano emerged as Chairman, with Hon. Ali Datti Yako serving as Deputy Chairman. The leadership structure also includes multiple vice chairmen representing different zones, alongside key administrative positions such as Secretary, Treasurer, and Publicity Secretary.

Dr. Bala Muhd Inuwa was named Secretary, while Hon. Abba Muktar DBT took the role of Treasurer. Other notable appointments include Prof. Salis Muhd. Tudun Kaya as Financial Secretary and Hon. Shehu Kabo as Publicity Secretary.

The list further reflects a broad spread across local governments, with positions allocated to representatives from areas such as Tarauni, Kiru, Nassarawa, Bebeji, and Ungoggo, among others.

Youth and women representation were also incorporated, with Hon. Sunusi Oscar appointed Youth Leader and Hon. Farida Kamba as Women Leader, alongside their deputies.

The emergence of the new executives is expected to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure in Kano as political activities begin to build toward future electoral contests.
