The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin Maliya, has formally registered his membership in the AKY Go Again Movement, reaffirming his support for the movement and its objectives ahead of the forthcoming political activities in Kano State.
Senator Barau registered his membership in the movement on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in a significant show of support for the movement’s mobilisation efforts and its commitment to consolidating the achievements of the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, Governor of Kano State.
Speaking after his registration, the Deputy Senate President called on his supporters, political associates and well-wishers across Kano State to register with the AKY Go Again Movement and actively participate in its activities.
He further urged his supporters to remain united and support all APC candidates from top to bottom, emphasising the importance of collective commitment, unity and coordinated support for the party’s candidates at all levels.
Senator Barau also commended the leadership of the AKY Go Again Movement for its grassroots mobilisation efforts and the strategic steps being taken to strengthen the movement across the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State.
He praised the movement’s leadership for its commitment to engaging citizens, mobilising supporters and building a strong grassroots structure capable of driving sustained political participation.
The Deputy Senate President’s registration is expected to further strengthen the growing momentum around the AKY Go Again Movement and reinforce calls for greater unity and coordination among supporters across Kano State.
The leadership of the AKY Go Again Movement expressed appreciation to Senator Barau I. Jibrin for identifying with the movement and for his call for supporters to join and support the APC’s candidates.
