Gov Yusuf Condoles Family of Late Senator Isah Kachako

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has led top government officials to condole with the family of the Late Senator (Colonel) Isah Kachako, who passed away three days ago after a prolonged illness.

This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.

According to the statement, Governor Yusuf described the death of Senator Isah Kachako as a colossal loss not only to his family and Kano State but to the entire nation, considering his significant contributions to national development.

The governor highlighted the late senator’s remarkable career, acknowledging his dedication as a former primary school head teacher, a gallant army officer who served his fatherland with distinction, and a committed politician who strongly believed in the empowerment of the masses.

On behalf of the government and the good people of Kano State, Governor Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and give his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Senator Isah Kachako was a primary school teacher, a retired army officer, an acting governor of Katsina State, and a former aide to the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha.

He was also one of the founding fathers of the All People’s Party (APP) and held the traditional title of Turakin Kachako.

He is survived by three wives, seven children, and numerous grandchildren. Among his children is Yusuf Isah Kachako, a staff member of the North East Development Commission.
