Kano governor schedules deputy’s swearing-in for Tuesday

The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, will swear in his deputy, Hon. Murtala Sule Garo, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

According to a statement issued by Ibrahim Adam, Special Adviser on Information to the governor, the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano.

Top government officials, party leaders, and other dignitaries are expected to attend the ceremony.
