The APC state chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, disclosed this in Kano on Tuesday.

Mr Abbas described the move as guided by unity, reconciliation, and the collective interest of Kano State.

Speaking on behalf of the party’s national leader, Abdullahi Ganduje, Mr Abbas stressed that the call for Mr Yusuf to join the APC was aimed at building a more united and prosperous Kano State.

“The APC is ready to receive Governor Yusuf with open arms so that together, we can combine our strengths for the progress of the state,” Mr Abbas said.

According to him, upon his formal entry, Mr Yusuf and other NNPP stalwarts would be received into the APC under Mr Ganduje’s leadership, in an atmosphere of mutual respect and collective responsibility.
