Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has hailed the leadership of Kwankwasiyya, Kano PRO-PA, Lafiya Jari, and CRC, describing them as pillars of his administration and commending their unwavering support for good governance and development in Kano State.

This was contained Ina statement issued by governor’s spokesperson Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Sunday.

Speaking during an Iftar gathering at the Ante Chamber, Government House, Governor Yusuf praised the four associations for their dedication and significant contributions to his administration’s policies and programs.

He acknowledged their efforts in advocating for social justice, promoting government initiatives, and ensuring accountability at both state and local government levels.

The Governor commended Kano PRO-PA for its proactive oversight role in monitoring government projects, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively for the benefit of the people.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and delivering quality projects that directly impact the lives of Kano residents.

In a major announcement, Governor Yusuf promised the resuscitation of the Lafiya Jari Empowerment Programme, an initiative designed to enhance economic opportunities for youths and small-scale entrepreneurs in Kano.

He assured that the program would be restructured and revitalized to benefit a larger number of people, particularly in the areas of health, trade, and business support.

Governor Yusuf reiterated his commitment to working closely with grassroots organizations and stakeholders to achieve his administration’s vision for a prosperous Kano.

He urged members of Kwankwasiyya, Kano PRO-PA, Lafiya Jari, and CRC to continue their advocacy and support, assuring them of his administration’s resolve to implement impactful policies that address the needs of the people.
