In a major step toward promoting Kano State’s cultural heritage and boosting tourism, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SparkLab Hub.
The MoU is aimed at strengthening collaboration in key areas such as cultural preservation, promotion of historical sites, youth engagement, and leveraging technology for tourism development across the state.
The signing ceremony took place at the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hajiya Aisha L Saji Saji Rano, who represented the Kano State Government. She expressed optimism that this partnership would play a crucial role in revitalizing the cultural sector and creating economic opportunities for the people of Kano.
“This MoU marks a new beginning for innovation in culture and tourism in Kano. We are committed to working with creative organizations like SparkLab Hub to showcase the richness of our heritage and attract both local and international tourists,” Hajiya Aisha said during the event.







With this agreement, both parties will work together to implement initiatives that highlight Kano’s traditions, arts, festivals, and historical landmarks making culture a key driver of development in the state.
